Postmodern thought is the theoretical source of transgression. From Nietzsche,Bataille,Foucault,Deleuze and other philosophers' theoretical interpretation and extension,it is found that transgression gradually gets rid of the negative connotation that has been related to taboo,which becomes resistance to essentialism and advocates the postmodern thought paradigm of heterogeneity and difference. Transgression theory also explores the theoretical width and depth in the course of integrating with postmodern discourse.

                          一、越界思想及理论起源

                          越界思想诞生于西方哲学的理性批判语境,其概念的形成背景是欧洲思想家对黑格尔和尼采哲学的持续论争。1930年,巴黎哲学领域兴起了对黑格尔思想的批判和反思。福柯认为,无论是逻辑学还是本体论,无论是马克思还是尼采,这个时代的思想都在努力挣脱黑格尔的影响。[1](P49)西方近代哲学自笛卡尔以来不断地为理性立言。笛卡尔把人的理性视为人们认识世界、获得知识的能力,他的“我思故我在”中“我”的理性是知识的出发点和思想的源泉。康德则明确指出:“自然界的最高立法必须是在我们心中,即在我们的理智中。”[2](P7)他对纯粹理性本身的批判性考察不仅再次肯定了作为纯粹思维能力的理性,更是把它提高到本体的地位。他为理性立法,认为理性是世界的法官,人类完全可以凭借理性之光和科学技术的力量,彻底征服自然、控制自然。到了黑格尔这里,人的精神经过辩证的运动,达到了知性的最高境界。黑格尔给人类指出了一条向上的精神之路,知识变得无限,知识之途走向光明,这场路途是隐喻性的。知识让我们从身边的表层现象中探知宇宙的深层奥秘,从个体中窥见集体,从俗入圣,从客体到主体,从常识到哲学理念。绝对精神是一种革新之后的上帝概念,意指一种纯思维过程,上帝成为理性的化身。现实世界只是理性发展的各个阶段,历史被看作精神的展开与实现的过程。他的辩证逻辑包含了一种不断超越和凝固的普遍理性,精神和自然、理性与非理性都被归结为绝对精神内部对立统一的不同层次、不同阶段和不同环节。他在思想上先把非理性的东西变成了理性自身的“异化”形式,然后宣称理性克服了自身的异化,从而建立起一个严密的理性主义体系,赋予理性哲学更高的形态。黑格尔这位理性主义的集大成者把神秘主义吸收到理性中来,把知识和信仰统一起来,建立起一种“理性的神学”。西方的近现代文明就建立在现代性的理性法则之上。然而,启蒙理性话语的华丽表面下隐藏着霸权的潜质。理性与资本、科技和政治的结合滋养了资本主义制度的极权主义,这种社会体制依赖总体化的秩序并排斥异质事物,造成了二元论的泛滥。二元论为现代性的肆意掠夺提供了意识形态的理由。现代人对自然和技术的控制导致了主体的过度自信,为满足征服和掠夺的欲望,无所顾忌地摧毁自然资源,进行了惨绝人寰的殖民大屠杀。这种统治、征服、控制、支配自然与异己的力量是现代精神的中心特征。[3]西方思想家将现代文明面临的困境归咎于统治西方思想两千多年的理性主义,并返回到西方哲学的渊源中寻求出路。
